what

s1d is a playground of the internet: a small set of tools made to be nicer than the usual options, living under one very short domain.

• shortn — s1d.me/x short links with live, privacy-respecting analytics (and it tells you when Discord only previewed your link)
• paste at p.s1d.me — code and text, revisions, diffs, end-to-end encryption, burn after reading
• image at i.s1d.me — paste a screenshot, get a link that embeds nicely everywhere
• drop at d.s1d.me — send big files with resumable uploads, or ask someone to send you one
• hook at hook.s1d.me — catch webhooks and watch them arrive live, plus cron heartbeat monitors

why

because the internet used to feel like a playground, and a five-letter domain deserves better than a parked page. everything here is self-made and runs on one small server.

how

s1d is invite-only to create and public to read: anyone can open a link, paste, image or page, but only members can make them. members can invite friends, and every account traces back up an invite tree, which keeps the place friendly and spam-free.

under the hood: python, postgres and a cloudflare tunnel. analytics never store raw IP addresses; visitors are counted with a daily-rotating salted hash and that's it.
